Pangalay Dance Workshop

In honor of Filipino-American History Month, A4J held a traditional Philippine dance workshop focusing on the classical dance Pangalay. Perhaps the first time in recent history that the dance has been performed and taught in the Big Easy, A4J’s event brought access to this unique dance from the Philippine archipelago and Malaysian shores.
